Adopt a hive - Third

Not everyone can have a beehive, or have the time or knowledge to tend to one. 

At Bee Inspired we think you should still be able to support the amazing Cape Honeybee (Apis Mellifera Capensis).

The Cape Honeybee is a very unique bee and its only found in the Fynbos Biome. What makes it unique is that it is the only species of honeybee that can survive without a queen bee in the hive due their amazing cloning ability.

By adopting a hive you are supporting this amazing honeybee and in return you will receive some honey from the hive you adopted. All the hives in this program will be located our apiary in Somerset West. 

We have 3 options available. 

Third , Half and Full

For a third adoption you can co-adopt a hive and in return you will receive 3kg of honey from the first harvest from your adopted hive.

For a half adoption you will receive 6kg of honey from the first harvest

For a full adoption you will receive 12kg of honey from the first harvest and have a plaque with your name on the hive. The hive adoption is only for a period of 3 years. You can also schedule a visit to your hive for an inspection of the hive with the full beekeeping experience. You will be responsible for your own travelling and accommodation to Somerset West where the hives are located.
